We are so grateful that we were referred to this wonderful doctor for the diagnosis of our daughter. Doctor Thakur listens so brilliantly and always has answers that calm and reassure us and help us understand our daughter's behaviour better. It was such a relief for us to meet her as she completely put us at our ease and thoroughly understood our situation. She has made the whole diagnostic process go smoothly. We only wish we could see her more often as the time between the NHS appointments is so long and I'm sure every parent would agree and wish this wasn't the case as we would all benefit from extra time with her - to gain even more from her expertise in her field. Thanks Doctor Thakur.

I'm a FY2 and was an observer in Dr Thakur's clinic. I was very inspired by her empathetic, calm approach to not only the patient, but also her mother. She took the time to not only assess the child for what she was sent for, but also did extra tests to confirm her clinical judgement. She then explain the diagnosis in a calm and clear way for the patient's mother, and then addressed any further concerns that her mother had. During this process, it was quite emotional, and Dr Thakur took the time to explore her emotions and also showed great empathy towards the whole family. She provided structured and practical advice to help the family and ensure that they felt supported when they left. I felt, sitting in her clinic, that I had learnt some key skills to take away with me for the future and was extremely fortunate to have witnessed great communication skills.

I sat into a developmental clinic as a trainee doctor in Paediatrics. Dr. Thakur was very comprehensive in reading around her patients before she saw them, gave patients adequate time and overall was a very competent doctor with a lot of experience - having referrals made to her from fellow colleagues in the profession. It was a pleasure to learn from her and would recommend to anyone.

We have been so lucky to have been referred to Dr Thakur. When we first visited with our daughter, she immediately put us all at ease and was very empathetic. She is calm, listens to what we have to say and works closely with us as a family to achieve the best we can for our daughter. We couldn't have asked for anyone better! Thank you for everything!
